Market Timing
Legal AI software is forecast to grow from $3.11B in 2025 to $10.82B by 2030, a 28.3% compound annual rate (MarketsandMarkets). That is the market Caseway earns revenue in today.
The second market is larger and moving faster. NATO members have committed to 5% of GDP on defence by 2035. Canada's defence industrial strategy contemplates roughly $180B in procurement and $290B in infrastructure, with a stated target of 70% going to Canadian firms. In July 2026, NATO allies announced more than US$40 billion of counter-drone investment over five years, alongside a NATO counter-drone marketplace restricted to systems that are NATO-tested and NATO-compatible. Taiwan's cabinet has put a draft act before its legislature authorizing up to NT$210 billion, roughly US$6.5 billion, for domestically produced drones and uncrewed surface vessels; that bill is under review and has not passed.
The common requirement across all of it is AI that is sovereign, non-PRC, auditable and able to show its work. Very few vendors can supply it. Caseway was built for exactly that specification.
Traction, Partnerships & Milestones
Caseway has signed paid six-month trials with a NASDAQ-listed courts-software company and with a listed Taiwanese semiconductor company, at approximately $150K each. A further trial has been offered by a major US aerospace manufacturer, and a fourth is in technical scoping with a Taiwanese technology group. Trial fees credit against a subsequent production contract, and each contract defines its own success criteria.
Our 8am partnership places CaseForm inside MyCase, reaching an ecosystem of more than 250,000 legal professionals. This was the first arrangement of its kind for a Canadian company inside a major US legal platform.
Caseway sits on the approved-vendor roster of the preferred supplier for Canada's submarine programme, with data-intelligence work expected from 2027. We have submitted two bids into Canada's IDEaS defence innovation programme, including Reliable AI Sensor Fusion for Real-World Missions with Rutter Inc. as our proposed maritime data and validation partner, and filed a proposal into NATO's DIANA accelerator. We hold NCAGE and SAM.gov registrations and an NRC IRAP relationship.
A strategic partnership was announced in July 2026 with a Taiwanese technology group covering counter-drone and maritime work. Confidentiality agreements are signed or in progress with a further group of drone and ruggedized-hardware manufacturers across Taiwan, and several have moved into technical discussion. A letter of intent is signed in Ukraine.
Our CEO has published 150+ opinion pieces in the outlets our buyers read, including The Line, Taipei Times and Policy Options. Coverage of the company has appeared in Vancouver Tech Journal, LawSites, BetaKit, CBC, Business in Vancouver, sUAS News and Taiwan News. Caseway was named one of BC's Top 5 startups by Startup TNT.
Governance note. Our one legal dispute settled in full in March 2026 with no adverse judgment.
