Technical whitepaper · Synthium DataHub
This document summarizes Synthium’s architecture, deployment options, and API reference concepts for technical evaluators, security reviewers, and integration teams. It is not a substitute for a signed enterprise SOW or deployment-specific runbook.

Synthium DataHub is Caseway’s enterprise intelligence layer for organizations that need governable, explainable automation over documents, structured records, and multi-source operational data. It is designed for environments where wrong answers create compliance, safety, or mission risk — not consumer chat demos.
The platform ingests heterogeneous sources, structures and validates them against policy, and exposes trusted outputs through APIs, embeddings, and operator-facing decision workflows. Human approval gates remain first-class controls.
Synthium is organized as a governed pipeline rather than a single model call. Each stage produces durable artifacts that can be inspected, audited, and replayed.
Enterprise buyers choose where data and compute live. Synthium supports private cloud, dedicated VPC, and on-premises deployment. Customer operational content is not used to train foundation models.
Production API credentials and OpenAPI specs are issued to customers under enterprise agreements. The conceptual surface below describes how applications and agents interact with Synthium after a workspace is provisioned.
Authentication uses tenant-scoped API keys or OIDC client credentials. Rate limits, retention, and field-level redaction are configured per deployment. Contact sales for the current OpenAPI package and sandbox environment.
For defence and industrial operations, Synthium presents recommendations with classification likelihoods, evidence summaries, risk assumptions, and doctrine or standards gates. Operators can accept, modify, or reject recommendations; alternate courses of action remain visible with scores.
This human-in-the-loop pattern is the same architecture used across regulated legal and enterprise document workflows — only the schemas, policies, and UI modules change.
Security controls emphasize isolation, auditability, and procurement clarity for allied and enterprise buyers.
